Seismospheres were small, blue-colored marble-sized explosive devices that were known to be the single most destructive material in the universe. Just one tiny orb was enough to destroy an entire house.
Several were stolen by the alien criminal Wacko and kept in a container shaped like a pickle. When Wacko arrived on Earth, Tank Muddlefoot mistook the seismospheres for jawbreakers. He stole them at first, putting them in a book bag and rocks in the container. He later threw the smallest seismosphere away in his house, and it blew up and heavily injured him.
