Disney pins are a type of merchandise that goes back to the opening of the first Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, which was in 1971. They are pins depicting characters and locations that are property of and iconic to The Walt Disney Company. Pins are frequently released at special events, movie premiers, pin trading events, or to commemorate the opening day of a new attraction, and some are exclusive to employees. By now, over 60.000 pins have been produced. Of those, around 30 are part of Darkwing Duck, with a few more if Launchpad McQuack and Gizmoduck pins are counted when there's no indication if they are made in context of Darkwing Duck or DuckTales. This puts Darkwing Duck third place in terms of pin count among the entire The Disney Afternoon lineup, coming in after TaleSpin and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers.
