Boom Studios 08 - Brigitte

Brigitte is a woman who ran into Negaduck at some point in her life and then quickly ran the other way with robo-wolves in pursuit.

Character

Background

Because Negaduck only operates in St. Canard, Brigitte is either a citizen or had some really bad timing in visiting.

Personality

Like most people who've come in contact with him, Brigitte has a healthy dose of fear for Negaduck.

Appearance

A white-feathered bird of some sort, Brigitte is of average height and slender build. She has long blonde hair and black bead-type eyes. She dresses fancily, although that may be an occasion outfit.

Fiction

Notes

  • Cover #8B is an homage to the cover of Batman #227 from 1970, which itself is an adaption of Detective Comics #31 from 1939. The three key players on the covers are, from Detective Comics to Batman to Darkwing Duck: Batman - Batman - Darkwing Duck, the Mad Monk - Clifton Heathrow - Negaduck, and random woman - Daphne Pennyworth - Brigitte.[1]
  • As an homage cover, the woman is not a character within the actual story of the comic. When asked about the robots chasing her and what name he'd give her, the cover artist and her designer, Diego Jourdan, answered: "They're robo WOLVES in any case. How about Brigitte for the female bird (not a duck!), after Brigitte Bardot? ;)" In regards to the existence of a last name, he replied: "not really."[2]
